These clients have a holiday cottage at Camber Sands on the lovely East Sussex Coast.
They wanted a garden that had a beach theme, with planting that can withstand the strong coastal winds.

 

The back garden shows a large Millboard deck with a circular detailed section...the LED decklights follow the circle round. The deck acts as the main dining and entertaining area. The deck itsel extends along the house and connects to the /mancave.

 

The deck fits snugly within the stunning  wavy wall (designed by Lisa) and acts as a retaining wall to the olive tree and mixed planting above.

 

The planting contains yuccas, grasses, and cordylines with assorted perennials for seasonal colour.

 

The front garden features two raised timber planters each with a mature olive tree...the soil has been mulched with pebbles over a geotextile to stop any weeds coming through.
