Day 26 in my Woodland Wildflower Challenge

Today the stunning Rowan (Mountain Ash) Sorbus aucuparia, just coming out. The berries can be used to make jams, jellies, conserves, marmalades, vinegar, wines, spirits, confectionery, ketchup, pies and soups. However, the raw berries have a bitter taste unless you know how to pick and prepare them.
